Honda Motor Co., Ltd. was founded in 1948.  A driving force behind Honda's growth came from the leadership of it's founders:  Mr. Soichiro Honda and Mr. Takeo Fujisawa.  The most important thing the founders gave the company is the Honda philosophy.  It is this philosophy which serves as the basis of Honda's business endeavors past, present and future.

Founders Soichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa believed in creating a workforce where each member's ideas received the full consideration and respect of the group.
